Annual
Holy Days |

God's
Seasonal Plan |
 |
|
| |
WHY does your Bible
say Christ's FIRST GREAT EDICT after He sets up His world-ruling
kingdom will be His command to all nations to come to His new
world headquarters in Jerusalem to KEEP THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES?
Why would Christ issue such a command if all the annual holy
days of God are merely "Jewish," and are "done away"? Did God
command His people to keep His feasts, only to later decide
to "do away" with them? Did Christ's atoning death "do away"
with the annual Sabbaths? Did Christ come to ABOLISH these so-called
"Jewish" Feasts? If so, then WHY will He FORCE all nations to
keep the Feast of Tabernacles in the millennium? You will be
astonished at the TRUTH about God's seasonal holy days, and
the marvelous HUMAN POTENTIAL revealed in their rich spiritual
meaning! |

Sunday,
Saturday—What Difference Does It Make? |
 |
|
| |
Some Christians observe
Saturday as the Sabbath, while others, the majority, observe
Sunday, claiming it is the “Lord’s Day.” But
does it really matter which day one keeps? Can we know for sure
which day is the seventh day? Is there any evidence that the
weekly cycle has continued intact throughout all these centuries? |

The
Miracle of Pentecost |
|
| |
"Astounding!" "Dumbfounding!"
"What is the meaning of this?" "What is happening?" These were
the startled expressions coming from the mouths of a crowd of
several thousand on the Day of Pentecost nearly two thousand
years ago. Those who uttered these words of astonishment were
mostly Jews and proselytes, with a sprinkling of Romans and
other gentiles among them, who were gathered in Jerusalem for
the Feast of Weeks, or the fiftieth day following the offering
of the wave sheaf. All knew it was the "Feast of the Firstfruits,"
and that it was celebrated "on the morrow after the seventh
Sabbath" following the wave sheaf ceremony. |

The
Passover - Is It for Christians? |
|
| |
What are the differences
between the Passover and the Lord's Supper? The apostle Paul
referred to "the last supper" of Jesus Christ as "the Lord's
supper" (I Corinthians 11:20) in teaching Gentile Christians
to observe the symbols of Christ's death. WHEN should the Passover,
or the "Lord's supper" be observed? At the beginning of the
fourteenth of Nisan (Abib); coinciding with Jesus' famous last
supper - or at the end of the fourteenth, on the beginning of
the fifteenth, when the Jews celebrated the Passover during
the time of Christ? Here is the TRUTH about the Passover and
the Lord's supper from the pages of your own Bible! |

The
Resurrection Was Not On Sunday! |

Why
God Commands Our Presence at His Feast! |
|
| |
The first great command
Jesus Christ will issue after His return will be that all nations
must keep the Feast of Tabernacles! (Zechariah 14:16-19). Today,
many "Christian" churches and organizations believe
God's annual holy days are "done away, " nailed to
the cross! WHY, then, will Jesus Christ issue this command at
the very beginning of His millennial reign? Must we keep the
feast today? What does the Bible really say? |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Why
We Keep the"LORD'S SUPPER" the Early Hours of the 14th? |
|
| |
It happens every year.
As the Passover season approaches, the question of when to keep
the Passover comes up. Should we keep it in the night of the
14th of Nisan (Abib)? The afternoon of the 14th? The night of
the 15th? Just when should we keep it? Does it really matter?
Despite the condemning accusations of some, our practice is
based on a careful, open-minded study of the Scriptures-not
love of "tradition"! |

Did
Peter Have The Primacy? |
|
| |
Was Peter the CHIEF
APOSTLE, having absolute authority over all the other 11 apostles?
The Catholic Church claims Peter was the designated LEADER of
all other apostles; that there has been an unbroken "succession
of popes" which has ruled the Catholic Church from that
time—and that the pope (called the "vicar of Christ"),
when speaking from his official seat in St. Peter's, is INFALLIBLE.
But was Peter the "pope" over the other 11? Was he
in complete autocratic authority over them? Did he, alone, RULE
over God's church, with all other apostles, prophets, evangelists,
pastors and teachers, under that ONE MAN in whom was vested
absolute authority? |

The
Chuch of God in Prophecy |
|
| |
Jesus Christ promised
that He would build His church, and that "the gates of
Hades shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18). And
indeed, Jesus did build His church. He began building it in
the first century, A.D., when He called and trained His first
disciples, and sent them to preach the gospel of the Kingdom
of God to all nations. |

The
Real Gospel |
|
| |
What is the "gospel"?
Why can't churches agree on what it is? If they all preach the
"gospel," why are their messages different? Is the "gospel of
the Kingdom of God" different from the "gospel ... by which
also you are saved"? It's time you knew the truth about the
real gospel! |

“CLONING”
Will They Soon Clone Human Beings? |
|
| |
The world
was startled recently when it was revealed Scottish scientists
had “cloned an adult sheep.” Exited, frenetic news reports flashed
around the world. Major networks quickly called together panels
representing Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish religious leaders
to discuss the moral and spiritual aspects of “cloning.” Would
they soon be cloning humans? |

Did
Humans Evolve from Lower Life Forms, or Did God Create Adam? |
|
| |
You have
never seen God. No one has ever taken a photograph of God. No
one can write to Him and receive a letter with the return address
"Heaven" stamped on it. Yet, millions worship various concepts
of God in hundreds of different religions. Evolutionists say
there is no God. They say you and I evolved over aeons of time;
that life began billions of years ago in some way, perhaps by
a "chance strike of lightning in a primordial soup of methane
and ammonia,' and gradually evolved from simple viruses and
amoebas to complex plants and animals. Is evolution true? Can
it be proved? |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Evolution:
Fact or Fallacy? |
 |
|
| |
No one can
deny that our complex universe is an astounding, majestic marvel.
But how did it get here? Where did we come from? Does it really
matter? Can it be, as so many contend, that this all just "happened"
by some fortuitous cosmic accident? Or did it come about as
the result of the careful design of an infinite God? Here are
the facts you need to know! |

Life
On Mars? Or Did God Create the Universe? If So, WHY? |
|
| |
Did we human
beings come from bacteria from Mars? Astonishing claims were
made in August 1996 by astronomers who claimed to have identified
a meteorite which landed in Antarctica, but which had allegedly
come from Mars millions of years ago. Contained in the rock
were the fossilized remains of bacteria, or, as some said, "evidence"
of bacteria, meaning evidence that bacteria had contributed
to the decay of living material of some kind, which had been
fossilized. |

Is
God a Mystery? |
|
| |
Most Christ-professing
people believe God is an unfathomable MYSTERY; a "Trinity."
This doctrine, proposed and accepted more than three hundred
years after Christ, is held by the Roman Catholic church and
dozens of Protestant denominations. Millions seem to accept
it without question; singing songs like "Holy, Holy, Holy….Blessed
Trinity," each Sunday. WHY is the "Trinity" mentioned
nowhere in the Bible? WHO, or WHAT is the Holy Spirit? Is God
"One in ‘three Persons?’" Is He an "hypostasis,"
or does the Godhead consist of Father and Son? You will be astonished
to see what your Bible says! |
|
| |
|
|
| |
What
is God's Name? |
|
| |
"And
Moses said unto God, 'Behold, when I come unto the children
of Israel, and shall say unto them, 'The God of your fathers
hath sent me unto you': and they shall say to me, 'What is His
name?' what shall I say unto them?' And God said unto Moses,
‘I AM THAT I AM’; and He said, 'Thus shalt thou
say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you"'
(Exodus 3:13,14). Should we pray to "I AM" when we
address God? Then why did Jesus say, "When you pray, say,
'Our Father, which art in heaven"'? Today, some insist
English-speaking people, or people who speak Tagalog, German,
French, Spanish, or Hindi, must speak only in Hebrew when addressing
God. They insist God's name is "Yahweh," or "Jawveh,"
or "Jehovah," and that Jesus Christ's name is "Joshua,"
or "Yahshua." Only by pronouncing God's names in Hebrew,
they claim, can you communicate with God. Is this true? What
IS God's true name? |
|

|
|
| |
Who,
What is God? |
|
| |
Of all the
theological questions that evoked controversy in the ancient
"universal church," none was more hotly debated thatn the question
"Who, and What is God?" Today, the debate continues. Some claim
that Jesus Christ is "very God of very God," while others claim
that He was an archangelin His preexistent state, or that He
didn't preexist at all. Just what does the Bible say about this?
Did Jesus preexist? Does He have the right to the names and
titles of divinity? And what about the Holy Spirit? Does the
Bible present the Spirit as the Third Person of a Trinity? |

Christ
in the Old Testament Can Christ Be Preached From the Old Testament?
But HOW, If It Is "Done Away"? |
|
| |
The famous eunuch from
Ethiopia was reading from the scroll of Isaiah when Philip was
sent to him. Within only a few hours, the eunuch asked to be
baptized. He had learned about Christ from Philip's explanation
of Isaiah's prophecies. How was this possible? Could the eunuch
have received Christ as his Savior, and been saved by grace,
through understanding what Isaiah wrote? Isn't the Old Testament
"done away"? Is the knowledge necessary for salvation to be
found in the Old Testament? Read, in your own Bible, the astonishing
truth! |

Is
Jesus Really God? |
|
| |
The issue of the deity
of Jesus Christ has been hotly debated for centuries. It was
an Alexandrian theologian named Arius who popularized the view
that the preincarnate Christ was a created being who was, both
in Essence and in Person, distinct from God. His view came to
be called “Arianism,” and was condemned by early
church councils. It is one of the Christological positions that
fall under the label of “unitarianism.” The orthodox
position regarding the deity of Christ has prevailed through
the history of Christendom, but unitarianism has never gone
away. Today, the most successful unitarian (Arian) group in
the world of professing Christianity is the Watch Tower Society
(Jehovah’s Witnesses). Several smaller groups, such as
the Assemblies of Yahweh and the Concordant Publishing Concern,
also hold this form of unitarianism. |

Do
You Have an Immortal Soul? |
 |
|
| |
Is it true that we
human beings go either to heaven or to hell when we die? Hundreds
of millions say YES! One of the fundamental beliefs of the
mainstream “Christian” religions is that of the
immortality of the soul! On this belief is based the concept
of an ever-burning hell fire as punishment for the wicked,
and heaven as the reward for the saved. Belief in an “immortal
soul” in some form or another was a commonplace among
heathen nations long prior to Christianity. The pagan Greek
and Roman philosophers speculated about the “soul,”
as did ancient Babylonians, Egyptians, Persians and Chinese.
The Catholic Encyclopedia admits that the doctrine has its
origins in antiquity—that the concept of an “immortal
soul” in man long antedates Christ and the apostles.
But is this doctrine TRUE? Did it come from the Bible? Did
Christ and the apostles teach the immortality of the soul? |

Is
Elijah in Heaven? |
 |
|
| |
Why did Jesus say “And
no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from
heaven, even the son of man, which is in heaven”? (John
3:13). Jesus, who had just come from heaven, and who appeared
in human flesh, said, plainly that Elijah was not in heaven!
Yet the Bible says, “. . . Elijah went up by a whirlwind
into heaven” (II Kings 2:11). Is this a contradiction?
It certainly appears to be so! Surely Jesus did not tell an
untruth! Yet He plainly contradicts what II Kings 2:11 SEEMS
to say! Is there some difficulty between the Hebrew and the
Greek words for “heaven”? Where did Elijah go? What
did Jesus mean? |

The
BIBLE, Fact or Fiction? |
|
| |
Is the Bible REALLY
the Word of a Supreme Being? Or, as the skeptics and evolutionists
say, is it a collection of Hebrew myths, distorted history,
poetry and glaring contradictions? Is there any real PROOF that
the Bible is the word of God? For if it is not, then hundreds
of millions of Christ-professing "Christians" are
deluded into believing in myths! |

many of these questions in our various periodicals. Unfortunately,
those new to our program and literature usually do not have

past years. For this reason, we have compiled, edited, and revised
a fair number of the questions and answers we have published,
and are now presenting them in this volume. |

HALLOWE'EN, commonly

its symbols and customs stem from ancient heathen mythology.
Why should any Christ-centered, Bible-believing person revel
in ghoulish death? What place have witches, goblins, demons,
skeletons, “Jack o' Lanterns,” black cats, and the
worship of “Samhain, the Lord of the Dead,” in a
Christian society? Millions use “Halloween,” as
it is commonly misspelled today, as an excuse for wild revelry.

Bible prophecy, portraying various scenarios for the "end

such books, foretelling the end of planet earth, have become
best sellers! Military strategists and heads of state have used
the biblical expression "Armageddon" to connote unthinkable
nuclear war! Can You understand Bible prophecy? Is it "sealed?"
Are there only a few who understand it? What IS prophecy? How

prophecy in a different manner? Read, in this simple, yet profound

Is the world's greatest
nation ignored in Bible prophecy? If it is, how could prophecy
be considered valid? How could prophecy be inspired, If the
United States of America is nowhere mentioned? Surely, if Bible
prophecy is relevant to our times, NOW, then it MUST mention
the United States! Many small, insignificant nations are mentioned:
Ethiopia, Libya, Syria, Egypt. Students of prophecy know that
many Middle-Eastern nations are identified; some of them by
their modern names. What about Great Britain, Canada, Australia;
the Commonwealth? For that matter, what of the nations in Europe?

God said to the prophet
Ezekiel, “I have made you a watchman for the house of

them for Me.” What kind of warning was this? Was it primarily
geopolitical in nature? Did it involve dire warnings about coming
earthquakes, famines, disease epidemics, floods, droughts, and
other disasters? Was it an ancient form of the sensational “headline

THE
MILLENNIUM: Will IT Be SPENT in Heaven, or on Earth? |
|
| |
Millions
of churchgoing professing Christians are familiar with the 1,000
years of Christ's reign. However, the mainstream fundamentalist
churches all teach that a man's soul goes instantly to heaven
when he dies, denying a millennial reign on the earth, while
one of the major Sabbatarian religions (Seventh-day Adventist)
teaches the millennium will be spent in heaven. WHY such confusion?
You will be shocked to learn that your Bible absolutely PROVES
the Kingdom will rule on this earth! |

The
Abomination of Desolation |
|
| |
Christ warned,
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet stand in the holy place, (whoso
readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea
flee into the mountains:...For then shall be great tribulation,
such as was not from the beginning of the world to this time,
no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened,
there should no flesh be saved” (Matthew 24:15-22). Obviously,
the setting up of the “abomination of desolation” is the one
most important event signaling the beginning of the Great Tribulation!
But what is it? Where is it to be set up? Who, or what, does
it represent? When will we see it in place? Matthew warned,
“Whoso readeth, let him understand,” so God intends we should
understand what Christ meant not be ignorant of one of the most
important events in future history. |

What
is the Mark of the Beast? |

God says
a BEAST, having two horns like a lamb, yet speaking as a "dragon,"
will "cause all, both small and great, rich and poor, free
and bond, to receive a MARK in their right hand, or in their
foreheads..." (Revelation 13:11-16). No man refusing that
MARK will be able to buy or sell. God says the horrible LAST
PLAGUES are going to fall upon those who have the mark of the
BEAST. What is it? Do you have it? Could it be forced upon you?
Could the mark of the beast be somehow secretly placed upon
you; tattooed, implanted under your skin in the form of a micro
chip, or secretly put into your wallet or purse in the form
of some plastic credit card or identification card? You need

it or not—The Bible Does Not Promise Heaven! |
|
| |
Millions in the Christian-professing
world believe they will be raptured to heaven. They sing of
“heavenly mansions,” or our “home up above.” In thousands of
funeral ceremonies, clergymen confidently assure bereaved relatives
their love ones are already in heaven, and the belief is indelibly
reinforced in an atmosphere of pain and fear of the unknown.
But does the Bible really teach Christians go straight to heaven
when they die? |

How
You Can Be An Overcomer |

Jesus Christ promised
everlasting life in the Kingdom of God to "him who overcomes".
But what does it mean to be an "overcomer"? |

Immortality—God's
Gift to the Saints |
|
| |
No question about it,
the Bible clearly reveals that immortality is God's gracious
gift to His saints. But if immortality is a gift that is given
only to the saints, why do millions believe that it is an inherent
quality of the human soul? What does the Bible say about
this subject? |

Is
Water Baptism Required for Salvation? |
|
| |
Is baptism necessary
for salvation? When should it be done? Should infants be baptized?
Should one be re-baptized in later years if one feels his first
baptism was invalid? Should the living be baptized for the dead?
What is the form for baptism? Sprinkling, pouring, or immersion?
Can you be saved if you are not baptized? Who should do the
baptizing? What if you were baptized by a man in whom you have
since lost faith? Should you be baptized again? Here, from the
pages of your own Bible, is the plain truth about water baptism.

Just
What Do You Mean ..."Born Again"? |
|
| |
"Praise the Lord,
I'm BORN AGAIN!" Millions of those who have come forward
at evangelistic campaigns, or answered altar call at revival
have spoken those words. Former President Jimmy Carter, whose
sister is a well-known evangelist, considers himself a "born-again"
Christian, as do thousands of others in notable professions.
Just what does it mean to be "born again"? What happens
to you when "it" happens? What do you feel? How do
you know? Are there any evidences of "being born again"?
And what did Jesus teach about this? Was Paul "born again"?
Must you be "born again" to be a Christian? If you
are "born again," must you speak in "other tongues,"
and receive the "baptism of the Holy Ghost"? You will
be surprised to see the plain teaching of your Bible on all
these questions! |

Man's
Awesome Destiny |
 |
|
| |
Life, for most of us,
is filled with heartaches, disappointments, grief, and even
intense pain. Even the person who "wins" in the game
of lifethe one who is born into a happy family, gets the
best education available, lands the most rewarding job, marries
the right person, has a happy marriage and wonderful childrenmust
eventually face the reality of death. One is left wondering:
Is this all life has to offer? Is it worth it? |

"SAVED
BY GRACE?" (Or is there something we must DO to enter the
Kingdom of God?) |
|
| |
Thousands of professing
Christians and many large denominations insist there are no
works required in order to receive salvation! Millions of people
who profess Christ insist that the LAW is "done away";
that such things as the Sabbath, annual Sabbaths, clean and
unclean meats, tithing are all unnecessary. They believe the
Bible says "Jesus nailed the law to His cross," and
claim that "under the ‘NEW’ Covenant"
there is no obligation to keep any laws! Millions believe we
are saved by grace alone! They insist there are no works of
any kind involved in salvation. Is this true? Will God save
us if we do not obey Him? Put another way, will God refuse salvation
to us if He finds us trying to keep His laws? Does it make God
angry with us when He sees us trying to keep His Ten Commandments?
Can keeping the Sabbath and holy days get you LOST? |

The
Assurance of Salvation |
 |
|
| |
What does God require
of a person before granting him the gift of eternal life and
assurance of entry into the kingdom? Must the truly converted
Christian, through combining good works" with his faith, reach
a certain level of spiritual perfection before he is qualified
for entry into the kingdom? When, precisely, can a person experience
the joy of salvation, with full assurance that if he were to
die tomorrow he would rise to meet Christ at His return, and
live eternally in the Kingdom of God? |

What
Does the Bible Say About Predestination and Election? |
 |
|
| |
Did God, before the
foundation of the world was laid, unconditionally predetermine
who would be saved and who would not? Has your ultimate destiny
already been set? Is it true, as Calvinists claim, that the
elect were not appointed on the basis of their faith, good works,
character, or anything else God could see within them? What
about the famous "Five Points of Calvinism"? |

What
is Your Destiny? |
|
| |
There are hundreds of
philosophies about life; library shelves are filled with books
on what we human beings are allegedly all about; psychology,
philosophy, religion, all try to inspire us-to assuage our grief
and frustration-to give us hope. But do any of them truly have
the answer? As shocking as it may sound, you have never yet
read the REAL purpose for human life! You will be astounded
to discover how plain, how simple the answer really is! At the
same time, you will be amazed at the miraculous complexity of
it all-inspired as you never thought possible to learn of the
awesome human potential! |

Did
God Create A Devil? |
|
| |
Millions joke about
the devil. Famous comedian Flip Wilson's "The devil made
me do it" made his audiences laugh. We have "devil's
food cake"; "The devil's Punch Bowl," a geological
phenomenon; "The Red devils," a college sports team,
and a common expression, "Up jumped the devil." All
of this pre-supposes the existence of a devil. But is there
a devil? If so, where did he come from? Did God create a devil
to tempt us? Here is the truth about Satan; his origin, his
present evil work, and his ultimate fate. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Satan's
Greatest Deception |
|
| |
"The devil made me do
it!" said Flip Wilson. Funny? You bet. Millions laugh at such
quips. In daily conversation, people say they have a "devilish"
good time; call a child a "little devil," speak of a suffering
friend as "poor devil," or eat devil's food cake. They may take
pictures of the ocean pounding its waves into the "Devil's Punchbowl."
A common expostulation is, "The devil you say?" And is there
any more common slang term than the word "hell"? (Which some
people feel is cursing.) In these and other ways millions of
people seem to acknowledge there is such a creature as the devil.
Yet, those same millions are victims of Satan's greatest deception!

Paul and
the Law: Understanding the "Hard Sayings" |
 |
|
| |
Many of the apostle
Paul's statements about the law may seem confusing, even contradictory;
but, with one simple (and often overlooked) key, you will see
that the "hard sayings" of Paul's epistles are not hard at all!

Sunday-Saturday...Which? |
|
| |
In man's society, ignorance
of the law is no excuse. Time and again those who are issued
traffic citations may plead innocence by reason of ignorance.
"But officer, I didn't see that stop sign," is repeated thousands
of times a year. And to no avail. The ticket is written anyway.
God's law is the same. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The
"Added Law" |
|
| |
In
years past, many of us believed the law that was "added because
of transgressions" (Galatians 3:19); was the cermonial/sacrificial
law which involved a tabernacle, or temple, an officiating
priesthood, special rituals and ceremonies, and animal sacrifices.
The term added was given the restricted definition of "came
into existence." Since we could prove that the Ten Commandments
were in force long before the time of Moses, we reasoned that
the law that "came into existence" could not be the Ten Commandments.

The
Ten Commandments |
 |
|
| |
All of us know there
is something terribly wrong with our world. Only an unthinking,
uncaring person could fail to be concerned over the rising tide
of crime, political assassinations and international terrorism
that makes up much of our news today. Bombings, kidnappings,
arson, murders, attempted or successful political assassinations
and attempted coups have rocked nations all over the world in
recent months, including Italy, West Germany, Spain and the
United States. Despite their own significant crime rates, many
third world countries point a finger of accusation at the United
States, claiming we are the most violence-prone people on the
face of the earth. |
